Indian Christians To Protest At United Nations October 11, 2008
Published : Sep 29, 2008

RAISE YOUR VOICE FOR FREEDOM AND JUSTICE

A Rare Opportunity for the People of Indian Origin and All People of Good Will to Defend Democracy, Human Rights and Religious Freedom in India. A group of misguided fascist caste supremacists are causing death and destructions to the small but productive Christian community. The government is not doing enough to protect the Constitution and the rights of all people.

A MASSIVE INTERFAITH DEMONSTRATION RALLY WILL BE HELD ON
OCTOBER 11, 2008 AT 11:00.A.M
AT 47TH STREET AND 1ST AVE IN NEW YORK CITY,
IN FRONT OF THE UNITED NATIONS
  • STAND UP FOR THE HUMAN RIGHTS
  • DRAW WORLD’S ATTENTION TO THE VIOLENT MURDERS OF CHRISTIANS,
  •  DALITS, AND TRIBALS OF INDIA
  • RAISE YOUR VOICE FOR FREEDOM
  • HELP STOP A POSSIBLE GENOCIDE
A handicapped nun who was teaching science to orphans was burned alive; Christian institutions that give hope to people of all faiths are attacked; Christian homes are being demolished; Christian church workers working for the welfare of the poor and the destitute are killed. Children are terrorized in several states of India by a small group of thugs on the orders of certain fascist organizations.  This terror tactic was started in 1999 December in Gujarat. It is intensifying in several states, especially in Orissa and Karnataka possibly to the level of genocide. This is the time to speak up before it is too late. This persecution, possibly a slow elimination of  Christians, 3% of India’s one billion people, is expected to continue if we don’t stop it NOW. You can make a difference on October 11th. Let the world know you care.
India, a beautiful mosaic of multi-cultural ancient land, home of Hindus, Buddhists, Jainists, Zoroastrians, Parsis, Christians, Muslims, Sikhs, Jews, Atheists, who speak at least 16 major languages, who live in at least 5 contrasting geographical settings, a wonder of wonders, the incredible India’s unity in diversity is under attack.
Do your part to defend freedom on October 11th.
Leaders from major religious faiths, human rights organizations will speak. Music groups, press and political leaders will attend.
